OK, time for a new review. Sorry for the long wait, but with all the Disney Movie stuff going around, lets get this out of the way. Enjoy everyone! enjoy.

Disney's Frozen Review

DJ sat down at his chair, relaxing as he heard the door knock. "Hmm, must be her now." He walked over and saw...Steel. "Oh." he said flatly.

"ARCH NEME-"

"Yeah, yeah. What is it?" DJ asked flatly, interuptting Steel before he could finish his yell.

"You are copying me by reviewing Frozen and you know it!" Steel said, pointing an accusing finger at him.

"Uh no. Watch." DJ then cues it.

"See? I am using a different trailer." Said DJ as Steel looked unconvinced as a tap on the shoulder caught his attention as he turned to see a certain strange-eyed Biker with black-with-red-spiked hair smirking at them.

"Hey bro, I'm here for the review." Shaddy grinned as she moved past Steel, leaving him flabbergasted. "What? He asked me to be part of the show for any other Disney reviews. If he wants someone else to join in, I'm sure he'd ask."

"BUT knowing your busy schedule, I'll let you get back to it. Ta." DJ said, shutting the door softly on him. "Yes, I know I didn't slam it. I didn't want to be rude."

"SO...how do we do these new reviews?" Shaddy asked as she sat down.

"STreet Master, give the audience the low down." DJ said as Street Master nods.

"It'd make up since I was out when ya did Lorax." street Master said as he cleared his throat. "OK, this is how it went: Way back when, Walt Disney himself was putting development of a movie based on the Snow Queen, a story by Hans Christen Andersen. The story was about this little girl named Gerda going to save her bud Kai from this evil mirror's curse while having to deal with said Snow Queen, who kidnapped him."

"Yeah...good luck getting that into a kids movie, Walt." Shaddy mutters sarcastically, rolling her eyes a bit.

"So yeah, this movie was shelved because they couldn't do the animation back then. So this went from re-write to re-write to the film we know today as 'Frozen'" said Street Master, showing the poster of said movie. "But lets see how over 80 plus years can do to a film, shall we?"

"And here's Frozen." DJ then cues it. "Our movie begins with the first song, Frozen Heart."

"It's...ok, I guess." Shaddy said as she asks, "But what's the point? I mean, it introduces Kristoff and Sven, but is it really needed to have them sing about ICE? This early in the film no less?" She shrugs as she says, "I'll never get movie writers."

"I'm with Shaddy here. It has a nice tune, but it seems to just be another introduction song that's in a lot of Disney movies." said DJ with a shrug. "So...A meh somg."

(Good Song: 0. Meh Song: 1. Bad Song: 0)

"Hey, you expanded it." STreet Master laughed, seeing that. "Anyway, we then cut to the home of our main protagonists; PRincesses Elsa and Anna."

"Fair warning: ONE Elsanna-based comment will get an Arrow to the knee." Moonfang warned, bow at the ready.

(Anna: (Climbs into the bed with Elsa)

Moonfang aims his arrow, waiting for it.

(Anna: Elsa! Wake up, wake up!
Elsa: Go to bed, Anna...
Anna: I can't! the sky's awake, so I'm awake, and we have to play)

Moonfang nods as he says, "As I thought."

'so after some...persuasion, Anna talks Elsa into playing wtih her with...this line." said DJ.

(Anna: ya wanna build a snowman? (the two girls share a smirk))

"One...motion of the keyboard...I make you a bullseye." Moonfang warned the commenters as he heard typing and fired, making a scream of 'MY LEG' be heard.

"So the two have fun in the snow before Elsa headshots Anna...ouch." Said Street Master wtih a cringe. "But luckily they got help from...Trolls."

"NOT that...rock trolls." said DJ.

"There you go." said DJ with a nod. "anyway, the grand elder troll messes with Anna's head a bit and tells Elsa that her powers are a dangerous thing if not trained correctly. So what's the King's big idea? ISOLATIATON." said DJ flatly.

"YEah, that ain't gonna traumatize her." said Street Master flatly. "Anyway, this leads to the next song, 'Do ya Wanna Build a Snowman.'"

"It's basically a montage over the years that, yes, ends with the parents dying. Eyep, it's a Disney Princess Movie." Shaddy said with a flat tone. "But it's stil a good song and voices the concerns that the sisters share. So...it's a good song, right?"

"YEah, it is a good song and it has plenty of feels in it." said DJ with a nod. "So yeah, good song."

(Good Song: 1 Meh Song 1 Bad Song: 0)

"And then we get another song...how long was that? 3 minutes or less? Man, this movie is dishing them out FAST." said Street Master with a surprised tone.

"And it's 'In the First time in Forever." said DJ with a nod, "It's another Anna song...yes, she has a lot. She's hte main protagonist, what can ya do? But now we have her and her sister voiced by KRisten Bell and Idena Menzel respectively."

'But yeah, it's a good song and it gets out the best in both characters." Said DJ with a nod. "Shows both sides of the characters best: Anna's optimism and Elsa's intervert nature."

(Good song: 2. Meh Song: 1. Bad Song: 0)

"Wait, I think I noticed something.." Enigma got out an image at this as everyone did a double take.

"Rapunzel?!" asked Street Master with a surpirsed tone. "Welp, this one is more official than others."

"Anyway, we are then introdued to Prince Hans of the Southern Isles-NOT a son of Ariel and Eric, thank you-and he seems like a nice enough guy, and is even voiced by Santino Fontana." Said Moonfang with a shrug. "But yeah, we get through the coronation of Elsa and we get a party."

"After a cute scene with the sisters-NOT in that way people-we are formally introduced to the Duke of Weasel Town-"

(the DukE: Weselton)

"Whatever. And we see more of a fun-side for Elsa in which she tricks her sister into dancing with the short old guy." said Shaddy with a chuckle. "Though we also get to see Anna interact wtih Hans that leads up to yet ANOTHER song...'Love is an Open Door."

"Weird song, but it's an OK one. BUT I'll get into it later." said DJ as everyone else looked confused at this but shrugged it.

(Good Songs: 2. Meh Songs: 2. Bad Songs: 0)

"Though at the end, Hans...proposes to Anna? WOW...he's kinda early there." Said Street Master with shock. "And I ain't the only one who thinks this, Elsa does too."

(Elsa: you can't get married to someone you just met)

"And most people would use this to point fingers at the other Princesses...but here's some counter arguments." said DJ as he cues it.

Snow White: Married after she was nearly killed.
Cinderella: Got to know him at the dance and in the live-action film actually became his friend before the dance.
Auruoa: Engaged as children.
Ariel: Saved his life and went on a date with him and likely flashforward some before they married. (she was only 16 after all)
Jasmine: Was against the idea and became friends with Aladdin and got to know him before they officially married.
Mulan: Didn't MArry Shang until subpar sequel.
merida: Never Married in her movie at all.
Tiana: Got turned into a frog with Naveen and got to know him better over a few days. Kinda a situation taht changes a person.
Pochahontas: Never married John Smith but may have married John Rolfe in the VERY bad sequel.
Belle: Got to know Beast within MONTHS. (seriously, am I the only one who noticed that it seemed that MONTHS went by? it went from late fall to winter to early spring)

DJ gave a smirk at this as he says, "Whatcha got now?"

"But this leads to a little whoopsie from Anna in that it reveals that Elsa has powrs...infront of EVERYONE." said Moonfang with a groan. "Great...and this leads to the infamous blizzard and her running to the mountains. Anna goes after her and leaves Hans in charge. BUT lets not worry about this, it leads to the best song in the film: Let It Go."

(Good songs: 3. Meh songs: 2. Bad songs: 0)

"You saw it coming. Admit it." said DJ wtih a shrug. "What can I say? Idina Menzel is an incredible singer and this songs hows it ALL off. It's akin to one of Idina's OTHER groundbreaking preformances...and this song even made the clear analonges between her and Elphaba." DJ then motiosn it:

How Elsa and Elphaba are similar:

  • Both had Idina Menzel play them
  • Both have great magical power
  • Both are treated as monsters because of said power
  • Both are misunderstood
  • Both have a bubbly friend/sister figure who they are very close too
  • both are easy bait for Yuri fanart/fanfiction
"The last one is the reason why Moonfang is ready with his bow." Shaddy pointed out. "But yeah, I like the song too. Not as crazy as most people are, but it's still a good song."

"And so it's known, we have NO idea on how Elsa got the magic dress power." said Street Master, shrugging at this.

"I have calculated THIS as the most likly of reasons." Said Enigma, getting a tablet and revealing...'It's magic. How the flying horse hockey can science explain it? It can't even explain that dang pink horse's spider sense-like power.'

"Later, Anna finds this little store in the woods an gets some...appropriate clothes-seriously, why didn't she change back at her house? She's got a fricken castle and can't get winter clothes from there? Weird-and meets up with..."

(Oaken: Yoo-hoo, big summer blow out)

"The only guy in this entire movie with a Scandinavian accent...no seriously, is this a trend in Disney MovieS?" asked DJ. "I mean...only Lumiere had a french accent in a movie that was set in France, Ray is the only Cajun accented character in a movie set in New Orleans, and then there's this guy. How come when you set a movie in a country where an accent is GONNA Be noticeable, you'd think that would be noticeable."

"Anyway, this is Oaken, voiced by Chris Williams, usually a writer for a lot of Disney movies like Bolt and Mulan." Street master explained. "And this is when we are met wtih a now much older Kristoff, now voiced by Glee's own Jonathan Groff...who's only song in this ENTIRE movie is a 50 second little thing about how reindeers are better than people...yeah, that song is too short so it can't even COUNT for one..."

"Anna convinces him to take her to the North Mountains, where Elsa is, and gets into a conversation about what had happened." said Moonfang...as he adds, "It goes as well as imagined."

(Kristoff: Didn't your parents ever warn you about strangers?
Anna: .....Yyyyyyyyyessss, they did. (scoots away awkwardly) But Hans is not a stranger
Kristoff: Oh, yeah? What's his last name?
Anna: Of-The-Southern-Isles!
Kristoff: Favorite food?
Anna: Sandwiches.
Kristoff: Best friend's name?
Anna: Probably John.
Kristoff: Eye color?
Anna: Dreamy.
Kristoff: Foot size?
Anna: Foot size doesn't matter!)

(Yakko: Goodnight everybody!)

"So after they run into wolves-I guess they're in the same woods as Beast's castle-they go on foot to get to the rest of the way." said Shaddy. "All the while, Hans gets a search party ready after the horse comes back."

"But enough of that, we got more comic relief in the form of that snowman from earlier, brought to life, as Olaf, voiced by Josh Gad." said DJ. "They respond...accordingly."

(Anna: (screams and kicks Olaf's head off, causing him to get thrown into Kristoff's arms)
Olaf: hi!
Kristoff: You're creepy. (he and anna toss the head back and forth before Anna throws his head back onto his body...upside down)
Olaf: Wait, waht am I looking at here? Why are you hanging off the earth like a bat?)

"Anyway, this leads to get another song. Thsi one is about his interest in summer called, well...'In Summer." said Shaddy as she shrugs.

"Despite the...awkwardness of this song, it's a decent tune that is fun to listen too. AS long as you avoid the elephant in the room." said DJ...as the group stared awkwadly at an elephant, who just scoots away.

(Good song: 4. Meh songs: 2. Bad Songs: 0)

"As they go to the castle, Hans finds out that Anna is missing and goes to a search party to get to Elsa's castle, with the duke giving him some goons to help." said Street Master. "...Gee, I wonder why HE is doing this..."

(This is how subtle the duke is...)

"And soon, the group goes up to Elsa's castle though there are some concerns about Elsa." said DJ. "Ah but come on, she can't be THAT bad, am I right?"

(Olaf: Yeah.  I bet she's the nicest, gentlest, warmest person ever. (walks into a spike) Oh look at that, I've been impailed. (Chuckles a bit))

"But yeah, they find the mountain and Anna tries to climb it. Whcih, according to my calculations with her height and weight, along with her inexperience in the outdoors, it'd take her...5 years." said Enigma with a shrug.

(Olaf: Hey! I don't know if this will help, but there's a staircase that leads right to where we need to go!)

"So yeah, Anna goes inside of the castle, making the otehrs wait outside so she can talk to her sister, and they try to reconnect." said DJ.

(Anna: Elsa? Wow...you look different. It's a good different.
Elsa: Thank you)

Moonfang suddenly fired his arrow as he says, "I saw that! I saw you people trying to make a shipping comment! That was just a warning shot!"

"Easy there, Hawkeye." Shaddy said flatly. "Anyway, this leads to a reprise of 'For the First time in forever' where Anna tries to reconnect wtih ELsa and tell her about the other elephant in the room..."

(Anna: Arendelle is in deep, deep, deep...snow)

"Wow...a last minute word swap in a Disney movie. Hmm, good show. But we don't reprises, so it'll just go wtih the original song." Said DJ wtih a thumbs up. "Though since it' the girl from Reefer Madness..." A clip tried to sneak in, but DJ pushed it back. "AWAY WTIH YOU! I WILL GET TO YOU ANOTHER DAY!"

"But this little bit of news messes with Elsa's tormented soul and accidently makes her use a powerful ice burst that hits Anna." Said DJ.

Elsa uses Sheer Cold. It's Super Effective!

"And she kicks them out with...a snow giant...yeah, this is Norway. all we need now is Chris Hemsworth as Thor." said DJ with a shrug. "Anyway this giant monster is named Marshmallow-yes really, Olaf named him-and is voiced by Paul Briggs, who will later voice Yama in Big Hero 6." said DJ.

"And thus kicks them right out of the castle. Via throwing them." said Shaddy.

(Olaf: Heads up! (hits a snw covered rock) Watch out for my butt! (Rest of his body lands on it))

"Weird movie." said DJ with a nod. "So yeah, Anna throws a snowball at the monster...OK, seriously, PETER GRIFFIN PRE-CANCELLATION IS SMARTER THAN THIS!"

"After they get away-somehow-they find out that anna's hair is turning white. So Kristoff gets the bright idea to go back to the 'love experts' he talked about earlier and goes to a warmer place while anna is slowly freezing." said DJ.

"This leads to...a very funny scene." said Street master wtih a chuckle.

"Yeah...this scene kinda makes Kristoff seem like he's kinda nutty..." said DJ wtih a chuckle. "BUT then we are introduced the trolls from earlier, who automatically assume the 'Shipper' role and try to make Anna and Kristoff get married...WITH A SONG!" said DJ.

"It's not that good..." said DJ flatly. "We just have it because it's meant to be a moment to liven things up before the heavier stuff. But in all, it's a..."

"Anyway, the Troll guy who fixed Anna earleir in the film tells them taht the ice spell to the heart can only be thawed out wtih an act of true love. And in true disney fashion, they think it's a kiss." Said Street Master. "Since, ya know...EVERY DISNEY MOVIE BEFORE Did this with fairy tales."

"So they go off to find Hans, who is off getting Elsa. After disabling her giant monster, Elsa puts up a pretty damn good fight against the Duke's goons." Moonfang said with a nod. "Seriously, for someone with little knowledge of her powers, she was able to put it to good use in a fight. Who knows, maybe in that new Frozen sequel they got planned, maybe we can see her going toe to toe against a brand new villain."

"But after Hans redirects an arrow to hit the chandileer that she made earlier and it, SOMEHOW just knokced it out...must be made of harder stuff and is locked up in Arendelle around the time Anna is brought back to Hans." said DJ. "This is when we find out the BIG reveal!"

(Hans: Oh, Anna. If only there was someone who loved you.)

"YEP! Hans was the villain the whole time!" said DJ. "Turns out that the entire time, Hans had planned on taking over Arendelle after the sisters are dead. SO with leaving Anna in a room to die, he finds out that Elsa has escaped via her ice abilities. So after Olaf reveals that Kristoff has a thing for Anna, the group goes onto the frozen fjord and Kristoff heads back to help Anna when a new blizzard arrives."

"But when Hans has Elsa at his mercy, Anna makes a sacrafice." said Street Master.

(Anna: NO! (puts hand up to stop hans as her body completly freezes, turning her into an ice sculputre and stopping the sword by sending a shock wave)

"This is the act of true love that saves Anna, however as she thaws out after some tears were shed." said Moonfang...as he fired an arrow from the bow. "FAMILIAL LOVE, NOT ROMANTIC LOVE! THERE IS A DIFFERENCE!" His eyes were shining a bit at this in annoyance.

"So yeah, Elsa thaws out the foyrd with, well..."

(Huey Lewis: That's the power of Love!)

"And then Anna gives Hans what's coming to him. BUT doesn't just let him off the hook." said Street Master with a smirk.

(Hans: I thought she froze your heart.
Anna: The only frozen heart here is your's. (Walks away...but then punches him square in the face, causing him to fall intot he water))

"Anyone got taht in repeat?" asked Shaddy with a faint smirk.

"So yeah, the day is saved. Hans and the Duke are sent home to face charges, Anna and Kristoff are a couple-with Kristoff being the royal ice seller-Olaf can enjoy joy summer without melting via a magical snow fall Elsa made him, and Elsa can now rule her kingdom with ease." said Street Master.

"And that's Frozen. And honestly, the movie IS Really good." said DJ with a nod. "While I can get people thinking it's over rated, but 'overrated' doesn't equal 'bad'. People need to remember that."

"The songs were mostly good, the story was well written, and the characters were dynamic. What more can you say?" asked Street Master with a shrug as Shaddy got up.

"Welp, I'm with them. Let me know the next time you need me to do a Disney review, OK bro?" Shaddy asked as DJ gave her a thumbs up to her.

"So yeah, see you all next time! And as you know, I'm the Demon Critic, Signing out." said DJ with a wave.
