Episode 25: The Hunt is on

(In the unknown location)

ShadowWereGarurumon was growling as he explored a dark forested area with black leaves on he trees, as he looked up at a gray mountain. There were many signs that read 'Do not disturb', 'Get out while you can', 'Death to those that come here'. He just shoves them aside as he walked ahead.

The wolf was grumbling as he says "First GladisLeomon fails, then MetalGreymon? This is what happens when I send armatures out there…and since I'm at low supply of my best of the best thanks to those stupid games the prince started, I only got two others…lets see if one is up to the hunt."

He then found a cave and smirked. He walked towards it as he looked around. Then a dark growl is heard. "Who goes there?" a voice growled as a figure walked forward at this.

"Ah, the Hunter…the one that defeated the seemingly undefeated Gokuwmon, correct?" asked ShadowWereGarurumon with a smirk.

"Indeed…" said the figure, looking down at him. "What do you want, Master?"

"Since you defeated that foolish ape, I got an idea for your next prey…" said ShadowWereGarurumon as he tossed over a picture; it was of the Digidestine. The figure looked down a blade came out and slashed through it.

"May the hunt…begin." Growled the figure.

(Back in the Human world…Saturday night at Ake's dorm)

Ake and Koemon walked into a room similar to Serena's, only with darker walls, a dark brown couch in the living room, a slightly larger TV then Serena's, a red carpet, and a dream catcher hanging on a wall.

Koemon was playing with a remote as Ake watched him calmly as they went inside. Koemon then looked confused at something, but shrugs. "Should we sleep now, Ake?" he asked, looking at his partner.

Ake shrugs as he says "Sure." As he yawned a bit as he and his partner went back to the bedroom, which had a black and red bed with a yellow blanket on top of it. He turned off the light, as there was a black out near by, as the figure appeared out of a store.

It looked around before taking off to go onto a rooftop. IT growled as it looked on from afar. He then went into the shadows, deciding to keep hidden.

(The Next morning…at the gym.)

"Come on, guys!" said Geoff as he played basketball with his friends on a two-on-two game as Jerome was still out of town at the moment; Geoff and Miranda on one team, and Terry and Duncan in another. Kamemon watched from afar, smiling as he watched the show.

"Bring it on, shorty." Said Terry with a playful smirk. Geoff smirked as he threw the ball at Miranda as she took it and ran down the court, as Duncan and terry followed her. She threw it at the backboard, making it fall into the net.

Kamemon smiled as he watched the show, but felt something off. He turned and saw a figure in a walkway, but then saw it vanish. Kamemon blinked under his helmet as he says "O-kay?" as he went back to watching the game.

But the figure stayed in the shadows, growling a bit as it waited. Then a middle-aged man wearing a blue coach uniform says "Hey, what are-GAK!" but he was thrown to a wall, getting their attention. The figure quickly left at this.

Geoff heard that as he says "What the heck? Come on guys." He and his friends ran into the back, as they saw the downed man. "Coach!" yelled Geoff as he and his friends ran over.

"You alright, sir?" asked Miranda as Duncan got out his cell phone and called '911'.

"Yeah, something or someone attacked the couch at the High School gym…" Duncan said into the phone, as Kamemon looked around, not liking this.

"Uh…dudes? You may want to see this." The turtle-like Digimon said as he points to the wall, where slash marks were shown, that appeared to be claw marks.

"…And apparently what ever attacked had claws like Wolverine. NO I'm not kidding, get an ambulance here!" said Duncan, annoyed.

(Later…)

Ake and Koemon came in with Ake's father, Nighthawk, as they went inside with Leroy, who had a strange device that appeared to be a black cell phone. A green light analyzed the slash marks, making it beep a bit. "Yep…there is slight energy coming off of this slash…more then likely a Digimon attack."

"You sure you didn't see anything?" asked Nighthawk to Geoff, who nods.

"Yeah. Me and my pals were playing a game and then we heard the screaming and we found him like this." Said Geoff.

Nighthawk nods as Koemon stared at the slash mark, as he rubbed his head, as if feeling odd. "This no good…" said Koemon, not liking this at al.

"I can tell." Said Ake calmly. He then heard something as he turned around, but then saw a shadow but it vanished, and frowned a bit. He then saw that Koemon was heading in that direction. "Where are you going?"

"Go find bad thing." Said Koemon, as he climbed up the side of the building with ease.

(Later…in the park)

Banditmon was drinking a soda from a bottle as he was with Jackson and his family at a park in town, as he sighed a bit. "You alright, fox?" asked Jackson's grandmother, curious.

"…I'm a raccoon." Said Banditmon plainly.

"Sorry about that. So, what's eating you?" asked Mrs. Roosevelt, curious.

Banditmon sighs as he looked at Jackson and his parents and looked down. "Sorry…but I'm having trouble getting used to this body. With Leomon, he was in that form for a while before he depowered to Elecmon. Sure he got back to being Leomon after a couple days, but…you know…it's kind of hard being stuck like this, and I don't know why."

"Hmm…maybe you need to relax for awhile. Maybe the answer will come to you soon." Said Mrs. Roosevelt with a small smile.

Banditmon sighs as he says "Thanks Winny…I needed that." He then got punched the arm, making him yelped. "OW! What was that for?"

"Don't call me Winny." She said plainly, as Banditmon just sighed at this. He then heard something behind him and got his guns out at this. "What are you doing?!" she yelled at this.

Banditmon looked around and saw a shadow and says "Coon Blasters!" as he fired at the shadow, making it move quickly. "Dang it…"

"What's going on?" asked Jackson, coming in at this.

"I sensed something…" Said Banditmon, a small frown on his face at this. He then groaned as his eyes flashed red for a second. "Ah nuts…it's trying to break out again…"

"You mean…" began Jackson as Banditmon nods. "But I thought you were better from that."

"I thought so to…guess he's why I'm stuck in this form…" said Banditmon. He looked ahead at this, a small frown at this. He then looked behind him to see that Koemon was near by, a small frown on his face. "What are you doing here, small stuff?"

"Sensed something bad." Said Koemon, looking around still. "where bad thing? Where bad thing?"

"…is that monkey talking?" asked Jackson's mother, surprised.

"After spending time with Coonmon, you'd think we'd be used to weird things." Said Jackson's father, as Banditmon nods.

"Where's Ake at, Koemon?" asked Jackson, confused.

"No clue. Left ahead, he should still be at gym." Said Koemon. "Bad thing attacked the teacher. Claw marks familiar. Claw marks familiar!" he squeaked a bit at this as he jumped ahead at this.

"Where is that crazy monkey going?" asked Winny, confused as she scratched her head.

"Don't ask…" said Banditmon as he turned to Jackson, and says "Lets go after him." Jackson nods as he and Banditmon ran in his direction.

Winny shrugged as she says "this happens when we have a super hero in the family, huh?" Jackson's parents sighed at this.

(Meanwhile, with Nyra…)

Nyra and Keitchii were at their homes with their partners, as Lopmon was reading a book. "Think Agumon is okay?" asked Keramon, who was eating some data out of a near-by computer.

"I think so…though I think Uncle Norm will be happy that the junk mail is gone." Said Nyra.

"Yep. Good thing he has a whole file full of them." Said Keramon as he licked his lips. He then smacked them a bit as he says "Okay, that one from that one website was weird…why did it taste like a-"

"OKAY, moving on." Said Nyra quickly, as she noticed what Lopmon was reading and took it away. "Hey, you aren't allowed to read my journal."

"But I saw Keitchii do it." Said Lopmon, as Nyra gave her brother a death glare at this. Keitchii whistled a bit at this, a bit nervous now.

"Sorry sis…" said Keitchii sheepishly. "But I didn't know you had a crush on that Jerome guy."

"Need I remind you have a crush on Serena after that skeletal cat incident?" asked Nyra.

Then a growl is heard as Lopmon looked out the window and saw someone out there. Her eyes shrank a bit as she quickly covered it. "What's up?" asked Keitchii.

"…There's a giant dragon outside…we should go now." Nyra said, as Keramon looked outside as his eyes shrank a bit as well.

"I'm with her on that…since he's right there!" as blades suddenly slashed through the wall and windows, making them all back up as the window was ripped off.

"What is that?" asked Keitchii, surprised as a creature crawled through the hole, revealing itself fully. It appeared to be a heavily armored dragon-like creature with four large, ripped up wings, and a black visor over it's eyes.

"So…lets see if the hunt can continue." Said the creature with a smirk. Nyra and Keitchii both glared at this.

They nod as they say "DIGIVOLVE!"

"Keramon Digivolve to Chrysalimon!" said Chrysalimon, appearing as his blades came out.

"Lopmon Digivolve to…Turuiemon!" said Turuiemon, her blades out. "Ninja Fist!" As she punched the creature, sending it out, but he got his air out.

"Nice try…" growled the dragon as his claws glowed. "Desolation Claw!" he fired a blast of energy at them at this.

Chrysalimon's horn glowed as he says "Unconnect Buster!" which caused a blast of energy to make contact with the energy blast, causing it to create a shockwave.

The results of the colliding blasts sent a ear-bursting sound which caused a lot of the windows in the area to explode outward, making glass come down to the streets, making people scream as they got out of the way.

The dragon growled as he noticed the two humans running out of the room as the two Digimon came outside and glared at him. "So…the humans are frighten, hmm? Good. The best prey is the one on the run." He then landed on the ground.

"Back down Cyberdramon, now." Said Turuiemon with a glare, her claws out. "Or else things will get ugly."

Cyberdramon just growled as he advanced forward until…"Banana slip!" said a voice as a yellow banana peel hits his face, making him growl a bit. He then saw Koemon was firing some bananas at him, using a near-by fruit bowl to fire fruit at him.

"Koemon? Where's Ake at?" asked Nyra, as Koemon shrugs.

"No idea." Said Koemon, as a police car came in. Chief Nighthawk, Leroy and Ake came out.

"What the hell is that thing?" asked Nighthawk, surprised.

"I am Cyberdramon, the greatest Digital hunter. The warrior that ended Gokuwmon the great." Said Cyberdramon, which made Koemon narrow his eyes a bit, but he was confused on why.

Ake nods as he says "Well, this hunt has ended. Digivolve." He activated his watch at this, making Koemon glow brightly.

"Koemon Digivolve to…APEMON!" yelled out Apemon as he pats his chest as he roared. "Metalic Fur!" it roared as it's fur glowed brightly and sent a barrage of hair at it, making him cringe a bit.

"Cyber Nail!" said Cyberdramon as it's claws glowed brightly and slashed at him, sending him back, but Apemon blocked with his bone, making him flash a bit, as Cyberdramon saw a different face on Apemon and growled out. "You…" he snarled as he kicked him aside.

"We got to help him." Said Nyra as the other two Digimon went to help.

"Stay out of this one." Said Cyberdramon as he powered up another attack. "Desolation claw!" he roared as he sent out a giant shockwave at them, sending them flying. Chrysalimon ended up on top of a car and Turuiemon ended up against a wall.

Apemon growled as he says, "You cheat." As he bared his fangs a bit, as Cyberdramon just chuckled. "What funny?"

"How did I cheat exactly? I just removed them from the battle. Nothing against that." Said Cyberdramon with a small growl as he flew at him again, ready to slash him, but Apemon got ready for the hit.

"Mega Bone stick!" Apemon roared as he smacked him aside with his bone, sending Cyberdramon back a bit. The dragon growled as he flew at him and punched him, sending him flying back into the squad car.

"Yikes…this is getting intense," said Leroy as Nighthawk nods, agreeing. Cyberdramon growled as he walked over and gripped his neck.

Ake growled as he threw a near by rock at the dragon, making him growl. "Are you begging for death, boy?" growled the large dragon, as Ake glared from under his sunglasses.

"You better watch it. You want to kill my allies' partners, and my partner to boot. You will not hurt them when I can help them." Said Ake, glaring at him.

"What are you doing, son? Get out of there!" said Nighthawk, not liking where this is going.

"Sorry dad, but lets just say I'm used to helping others." Said Ake, as his watch glowed a bit. "Hmm?" he asked as he and Apemon glowed. He then looked at his watch, which glowed.

It glowed as the words came onto the screen. 'Code Found; Password: Guardian.' Suddenly it shoots out a blast of energy as it hits Apemon, making him screech loudly.

Apemon's eyes glowed as he says "APEMON DIGIVOLVE TO…" Suddenly clouds began to gather over head as lightning came down onto the golden ape, making its fur grayer as a tail grew out. He then gained clothing; a black leather jacket over his chest, a golden headband over its forehead, golden cuffs on it's wrists, a skull shoulder pad, black leather pants with black boots, a small monkey toy on his own belt, and a red scarf came onto him.

It growled as he picked up his bone, making it glow brightly as it changed into a strange-looking bo-staff. "GOKUWMON!" roared the warrior, sending out a thunderous roar as he pats his chest.

Turuiemon was shocked as she says "No way…it can't be…"

"That little chimp was Gokuwmon?!" asked Chrysalimon, surprised.

Cyberdramon growled darkly, as he says "So…you did survive."

"Survive what?" asked Gokuwmon, confused as he glared at him with his now reddish eyes.

That made Cyberdramon chuckle a bit. "Isn't that cute…can't remember your own past even though you have your power again. How sad…ah well, may as well destroy you now. Desolation claw!" roared Cyberdramon as he fired a blast of energy his way.

Gokuwmon jumped out of the way as he pressed a button on his new bo staff as he says "Face the rath of my weapon!" As it split into two as he aimed the two sides. "Super-Electrified Lightning Cannon!" As he fired a barrage of electrical pulses, which hit Cyberdramon, making him growl in annoyance.

"Nice try…Cyber Nail!" roared the dragon as he flew towards him, his claws glowing brightly, but before he could strike, Turuiemon jumped and kicked him in the back. "You wish to die, rodent?"

"Not yet! Digivolve!" said Keitchii, as his watch glowed.

"Turuiemon Digivolve to…Antylamon!" said Antylamon, appearing out of a bright light.

"You gotta power up to, Chrysalimon. Digivolve!" said Nyra as her watch glowed, making Chrysalimon glow.

"Chrysalimon Digivolve to…Infermon!" said Infermon as he glared. "Lets get this creep together. Spider Shooter!" the blasts hit Cyberdramon, hitting him in the chest.

"Bunny Blades!" said Antylamon, slashing at Cyberdramon with the blades, which piereced the armor a bit.

Cyberdramon growled deeply as he says "You cannot defeat me, you fools!"

"Try this. The hunter…has become the prey." Said Gokuwmon as he stabbed his staff into the ground as he says "Lightning Speed attack!" as it went upward, stabbing into a cloud, which caused it to turn gray.

Cyberdramon roared as he flew at Gokuwmon, as some lightning flew into the staff as it went into Gokuwmon's body, making him roar as he charged at Cyberdramon and collided with him, making a shockwave as they flew away from each other, making them both collide with the ground.

Gokuwmon groaned as he took out his staff and glared at Cyberdramon, who growled darkly at him. The large ape then did a stance as he says "Secret Technique: Waking Shadow!" He then ran at Cyberdramon, as he spun his staff and ran at the dragon.

The large warrior tried to attack, but then saw that there were multiple Gokuwmon as all the ape-men began to strike at the warrior, making him groan a bit as he noticed part of his amror was cracked.

"Now!" said Gokuwmon to Infermon, who nods as he opens his mouth and powered up his cannon.

"Spider Shooter!" said Infermon as he fired a blast right at the crack, causing it to go through, making Cyberdramon roar in pain.

He then looked at the hole there, as he growled darkly, as Antylamon's arms glowed. "Arm Bomber!" yelled the large rabbit as she smacked him upwards, as Gokuwmon powered up again.

"Somersault Cloud!" said Gokuwmon as a cloud formed under him as he fired upward, as he jabbed the staff right into Cyberdramon, making him roar in pain as he threw him downward. "Cyberdramon…you are done…" as they saw him fading.

"Heh…I am not the last though…you may need to prepare for the leader…" laughed Cyberdramon as he faded.

"Well…that was disturbing…" said Leroy.

"I still can't believe that Koemon is Gokuwmon." Said Infermon, as Gokuwmon looked confused.

"I do not see the point of that. Why is that important?" asked Gokuwmon, rubbing his head.

"…you don't know why?" asked Antylamon, surprised as Gokuwmon just shrugged.

"Well…things just got interesting here…" said Keitchii.

"You got that right." Said Nyra with a nod, as they looked at the large ape with some confusion.

But unknown to them, BlackShurimon was watching them from afar. "This…could be troubling…" said the ninja to himself as he vanished with some leaves.

(Meanwhile…in the Digital World)

In the Holy City, Sanzomon was meditating when her eyes suddenly widen. "Gokuwmon…he's alive…" she then let a small tear go down her cheek as she looked at a picture that was near her. It was a picture of her and a familiar Gokuwmon, both smiling in it.

She sighed as she heard Ravemon come in. "Madam Sanzomon, are you okay?" asked the bird-themed warrior.

"Yes…yes I am…" said Sanzomon with a sigh.

"Oh Ravemon!" said a famliar voice as Ravemon yelped and flew off, as Lotusmon ran after him. "Hey! Get back here!" Sanzomon just chuckled at this, finding his humorous.

"Kids these days…" laughed the holy Digimon as she sighed, looking at the picture with a small smile under her callor.
